Welcome to The Candle Company.ae. By placing an order with us or participating in our workshops, you ("Client") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

1. Scope of Services

 

1.1 Wholesale Supply of Candles and Reed Diffusers  

The Candle Company.ae supplies wholesale candles and reed diffusers as per the agreed specifications outlined in order confirmations. The Client agrees to adhere to these specifications and acknowledges the inherent variations in natural wax and diffuser products.

 

1.2 Candle and Reed Diffuser Workshop Activities  

We provide candle-making and reed diffuser workshops for groups. By enrolling, participants agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by The Candle Company.ae. 

 

2. Product Specifications

 

2.1 Agreed Specifications  

All products are produced according to mutually agreed specifications, including fragrance, colour, size, packaging, and labelling.

 

2.2 Natural Variations  

The Client acknowledges that the candles are made using a natural, non-toxic, and vegan wax blend. Due to the inherent characteristics of natural wax, minor imperfections such as "frosting" (a whitish coating that can appear on the surface of the wax) may occur. These imperfections are purely aesthetic and do not affect the performance or quality of the candles. The client acknowledges that variations in diffuser liquid colour may occur. 

 

3. Payment Terms

 

3.1 Pricing and Payment  

All prices are provided in advance and are subject to confirmation upon order placement. Payment must be made in full prior to production unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

3.2 Deposit for Custom Orders

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of wholesale orders. The remaining balance is due before shipment.

 

3.3 Deposit for Workshops  

A 100% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of workshop bookings. 

 

3.4 Late Payment 

Failure to complete payment may result in order delays, additional fees, or cancellation without refund of the deposit.

 

4. Order Completion, Delivery, and Workshop Attendance

 

4.1 Production and Delivery  

Orders will be shipped within the agreed timeframe following final approval and full payment. The Candle Company.ae is not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping providers.

 

4.2 Client’s Responsibilities for Orders 

The Client must review and approve any necessary designs or samples within 2 business days of receipt. Delays in approval may result in production delays.

 

4.3 Workshop Participation  

Participants must adhere to all safety instructions. The Candle Company.ae reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who does not comply with workshop rules.

 

4.4 Cancellations and Rescheduling  

Workshop bookings may be rescheduled with at least 14 days notice. Cancellations within 14 days will not be eligible for a refund. Rescheduling within 14 days may incur extra costs. 

 

5. Quality Assurance and Returns

 

5.1 Product Quality  

All candles and reed diffusers are crafted according to the highest quality standards. Any significant discrepancies must be reported within 30 days of receipt for review.

 

5.2 Replacement or Refund  

If a product does not meet the agreed specifications, The Candle Company.ae reserves the right to offer a replacement, repair, or refund at its sole discretion.

 

5.3 Exclusions

Minor variations, aesthetic imperfections, and issues arising from improper storage or use are not covered under this policy.

 

6. Limitation of Liability

 

6.1 Extent of Liability 

The Candle Company.ae’s liability is limited to the total order or booking value. Under no circumstances will The Candle Company.ae be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruptions.

 

6.2 Client's Sole Remedy  

 

The Client’s exclusive remedy for any defective product or unsatisfactory workshop experience is limited to repair, replacement, or refund, at the discretion of The Candle Company.ae.

 

7. Intellectual Property & Design Protection

 

7.1 Ownership of Designs 

All designs, packaging, candle, and diffuser concepts created by The Candle Company.ae remain its exclusive property, including custom designs developed for the Client, unless agreed otherwise in writing. 

 

7.2 Restricted Reproduction  

The Client may not replicate or have any The Candle Company.ae designs manufactured by another entity for a period of 24 months after order completion.

 

7.3 Workshop Content & Materials  

All workshop materials, including techniques, guides, and proprietary content, remain the intellectual property of The Candle Company.ae and may not be reproduced without written consent.

 

7.4 Marketing Usage  

The Candle Company.ae retains the right to use images and videos of the candles and reed diffusers produced, including custom designs and workshop activities, for marketing purposes unless the Client objects in writing.

 

8. Confidentiality

 

8.1 Protection of Proprietary Information  

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of trade secrets, designs, and proprietary information shared during the course of business.

 

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

 

9.1 Legal Jurisdiction  

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the UAE, unless mutually agreed otherwise.

 

10. Entire Agreement

 

10.1 Binding Agreement 

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between The Candle Company.ae and the Client and supersede all prior communications, representations, or agreements.

 

By placing an order or participating in a workshop, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
