Mouawad X The Candle Company

In the case of Mouawad, thecandlecompany.ae created bespoke crystal infused candles for their festive gifting that aligned with their brand symbolism, colours, guidelines and heritage. 


We matched Mouawad’s unique brand fragrance of patchouli oud & resins. It had top notes of bergamot and lemon rind, middle notes of lavendar, tulip and voilet, and base notes of oud, patchouli, sandalwood, resins and amber.


We infused the candles with green quartz and citrine crystals that not only matched their brand colours, but also aligned with the intentions of happiness, best wishes and prosperity that Mouawad wanted to set for this collection. 


Green Quartz is a variety of quartz infused with green hues from iron compounds. It symbolizes healing, renewal, and growth, often associated with activating the heart chakra. This crystal is believed to attract positive energy, fostering inner peace and promoting prosperity. 


Citrine is a radiant yellow crystal associated with joy, abundance, and positive energy. Linked to the solar plexus chakra, it is believed to enhance confidence and creativity. Often regarded as a stone of prosperity, Citrine is said to attract wealth and success. Its sunny disposition makes it a popular choice for dispelling negative energy and promoting a bright, optimistic outlook. 


We finished off by adding dried olive branches to each candle, which features in their brand crest as a powerful symbol of their Mediterranean origins. This mighty tree signifies peace, abundance and prosperity, to which Mouawad draws their inspiration from. 


We created customized packaging for Mouawad to offer their clients an unforgettable un-boxing experience. The candle boxes were matched to their brand pantone colours, their logo was made in gold foiling and their crest was embossed onto their gift bags. The boxes featured a velvet opening which surely held the large candles in place and protected them during international shipping to their overseas boutiques.
